Our $100,000 Match Brings Total to $200,000 to Benefit Area Nonprofits
We are thrilled to announce the success of our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on May 6 at the Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club.
Thanks to the participation and generosity of sponsors and players, the sold-out tournament, which featured 216 golfers comprising clients, trade partners, and business associates, raised $100,000 for the Joeris Charitable Foundation. The foundation will allocate monies raised to a number of deserving charities in the San Antonio region.
The tournament was filled with fun activities on the course, including Break the Glass, Hole in One, Beat the Pro, and Putting and Long Drive contests. Players also enjoyed an exclusive complimentary shopping experience with apparel from clothing company, TravisMathew, and had a chance to win one of 75 raffle items.
This year’s event marked the inaugural year for the Joeris Charitable Foundation, which carries on our longstanding philanthropic mission to have a positive impact on the communities Joeris serves.
In a gesture of commitment to the community, we are proud to match the $100,000 raised by our partners, doubling the total contribution to $200,000. The goal of the Joeris Charitable Foundation is to provide meaningful support to as many local charities as possible.
Currently, we have identified more than 10 deserving organizations that will benefit from this funding. The selected nonprofits will be announced in a couple of weeks.
