The 175,000 SF new middle school was designed around a courtyard concept, the school is circular, with a terraced layout, an amphitheater courtyard and outdoor seating.
The middle school accommodates 1,150 students and features flexible learning and collaborative spaces designed so they can easily be transformed to facilitate different styles and approaches of teaching and will also accommodate future modifications. Also included in the school are focused areas for science and technology labs, fine arts, and athletics including two gymnasiums and athletic fields.
