Located in McAllen, Texas, the Mission Restaurant Supply offers commercial-grade kitchens, restaurants, and janitorial equipment to the food service industry. This facility was designed to relocate an existing Mission Restaurant Supply in town for a larger scale.
The 32,000 SF tilt-wall building includes check-out stations, interactive bar and kitchen equipment, a warehouse, loading dock, and a mezzanine for spacious office rooms. A loading dock route was designed to control traffic and easy access to the warehouse. Made up of concrete and aluminum, the vision for the building was to have a minimalistic modern finish. A unique feature is the perforated steel panels that play as a curtain wall. It gives the illusion of the day of a large solid white panel but reveals the light and merchandise through the glass from the inside at dusk for by-passers to see.
