Pearl Stable Hall

Commercial Historical Renovation Hospitality In Progress | San Antonio

  • Project Scope 21,563 SF Renovation of the Stable Hall to a Music Venue
  • Completion Date January 2024
  • Owner Pearl Market, LLC
  • Architect Clayton Korte

The Pearl Stable Hall project involves the transformation of a historic multi-purpose event space into a destination music and performance venue. The 20,000 square foot building, originally designed to corral horses, has presented limitations due to its oval-shaped cylinder design, especially when incorporating the necessary mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems overhead.

The Pearl Stable Hall project is an exciting and ambitious endeavor that seeks to preserve the historical significance of the building while transforming it into a modern and intimate performance venue. The nearly 130-year-old structure will seat roughly 1,000 concertgoers. The layout will include some box seating on the balcony level. With its unique architecture and challenging renovation requirements, the project team is sure to deliver a space that will inspire and entertain audiences for years to come.
