The Libraries Department at The University of Texas and Texas A&M University entered into an agreement to build a Joint Library Facility on the Riverside campus of Texas A&M University. The new facility provides off campus storage for over a million books for both library systems. 

The 18,000 square foot library facility is new construction featuring high-density shelving that minimizes the physical requirements and costs of print storage, housing books and journals more efficiently. The facility is a valuable resource to students and faculty at The University of Texas and Texas A&M University as well as other academic and medical institutions.
