The Leander Middle School renovations included upgrades to the existing campus and classroom addition. The renovations at the Middle School campus occurred during the summer breaks and the academic school year, adjacent to the active, occupied campus. Careful, precise planning took place with the stakeholders at the district and our trade partners to coordinate work activities with campus academic and extracurricular schedules to ensure completion of the work and minimal impact on the learning environment.
The scope of work for the project included:
- Eight classroom addition with new adjacent restrooms
- New fire sprinkler/fire suppression system
- New ceilings
- New lighting
- Interior paint
- Flooring
- HVAC
- Security Vestibule
Joeris also partnered with Leander ISD and the Fields and Associates design team on the Giddens Elementary School renovations.
