Joeris was selected by the development team at Greystreet Partners to remodel an existing building to house this favorite local bakery’s second location.
The space was designed by Clayton & Little in conjunction with an in-house designer and ideas from the owners, the Cáceres brothers. The brickwork on the walls is original to the building and was incorporated into the new look. A portion of the floor also includes locally salvaged wood. The walls feature black and white 1930s photos of individuals from Mexico City, a detail Jose says is meant to remind the brothers of their heritage—they are both from Mexico’s capital city.
This new location features a large kitchen with modern features and extensive daylighting with the use of windows into the actual baking space.
