The Pre-K for SA East Education Center for the City of San Antonio is one of only four facilities of its kind in the city of San Antonio. Each center serves a maximum of 500 students from pre-kindergarten through the 3rd grade.
This project included a new building of approximately 48,000 GSF, 14,000 SF of outdoor play areas, and additional SF for parking.
The facility included:
- a reception lobby
- 25 classrooms to accommodate a total of 500 children
- one child’s restroom between every two classrooms
- large training rooms, offices
- meeting rooms
- motor skills rooms
- storage rooms
- workrooms
- a speech therapy room
- nurse’s office
- warming kitchen
- lounge areas
- support areas
