The additions and renovations to the existing Roquemore Elementary School were to re-purpose the campus into a fine art and dual language academy for elementary students. The name for the Academy is the Jimmy and Laura Jones Academy.
The campus went under extensive renovations and enhancements that resulted in a state-of-the-art fine art space including string rooms, piano practice rooms, drama and theater spaces, and dance studio. The campus remained open during construction and was completed in several different phases to minimize disruption to the campus.
