Joeris was selected as the Construction Manager for a new 200,000 SF middle school for Northside Independent School District. The school was built following Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) standards. This is a green building rating program designed for K-12 schools. By following these design and construction standards, the building is energy and resource efficient as well as healthy, comfortable, and well lit.
Built on a large rural site, the campus includes an auditorium, an administrative wing, library, cafetorium, competition and auxiliary gyms, 40+ general classrooms, science labs, a computer lab, building trades classrooms, a clothing lab and career tech labs, music and arts wing, a secured courtyard and athletic fields.
