Joeris General Contractors was selected as the Construction Manager for the San Antonio ISD $78 Million Construction Bond Package passed in 2016.
The scope of work for this bond package includes renovations to 3 campuses: Brackenridge High School, Sam Houston High School, and Davis Middle School.
Over 80,000 SF of additions and renovations have been completed at all three schools as of December 2021.
Brackenridge High School
The additions and renovations to Brackenridge High School includes over $37 Million in renovations and the following in upgrades:
- Renovations to the main building
- Classroom spaces (general learning, dance/pep room, science, special education)
- Restrooms
- Cafeteria/Kitchen
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning
- Plumbing and Electrical
- Technology Infrastructure for upgraded spaces
- Lighting
- Fire Sprinkler systems
- Special needs accessibility in entryways, restrooms, and other areas,
- Dance Studio
- Roofing, building exterior, and site improvements
Sam Houston High School
Renovations and upgrades to the Sam Houston High School include:
- Athletic track re-coating
- Tennis court fencing
- Renovations to the auditorium
- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
- Plumbing and Electrical
- Lighting
- Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Cafeteria/Kitchen
- Classroom spaces (general learning, science, special education)
- Restrooms
- Special needs accessibility in entryways, restrooms, and other area
- Front-entry modifications to improve security
- Roofing, building exterior, and site improvements
